Thursday, July 30, 2015. Bye, Bye, Trailer House. Today was the day, the long awaited day. Today was demolition day. He first stripped of as much of the metal as he could. This exposed the 2x2's and the thin layer of insulation between the sheet metal and the paneling. No wonder the inside was usually the same temperature as the outside! That isn't to say I wasn't thankful for shelter. I am saying it was a death trap that needed to go to the grave (before it put us there! So glad to have that bugger gone.

Cayben woke up first and went to go see what he got from Santa. He was excited to find a scooter, a DVD and a stocking full of goodies. The kids had a great morning opening gifts, and were so appreciative of everything they got. Shay and I loved watching their excitement. Yesterday was the best Christmas ever, well insept.
