영산강 자전거 종주 팁 (Tip). 을 하면서 느꼈던 라이딩 전 미리 알면 좋은 것들을 정리해보았다. 수도권에서 고속버스로 접근할 경우. 시작 지점인 담양댐 인증센터와 가까운 곳은 광주광역시. 종료 지점인 영산강 하구둑 인증센터와 가까운 곳은 목포시. 광주광역시 터미널에서 담양댐 인증센터로 가기 위해서는 자전거로 약 40Km. 시외버스로 담양 시외버스 터미널까지 가는 방법도 있다. 이 경우는 약 10Km. 시외버스에 적재 가능한 자전거는 2대 정도. 담양 시외버스 터미널에서 담양댐 인증센터는 자전거로 약 10Km. 1박 2일 코스로 진행할 경우 목포와 담양의 중간인 나주가 적당하다. 단, 나주는 영업점들이(음식점 등) 일찍 문을 닫는 곳이 많아서 9시 이전에 식사를 하는 것이 좋다. (나주 시청 근처에 롯데마트 존재). 영산강 종주를 위해서는 종주 전에 인증 수첩을 구매해야 한다. 중간 지점인 나주의 승촌보 인증센터와 같이 있는 영산강 문화관에서는 인증수첩을 판매한다. 자전거 좋아하는 웹 개발자입니다.

양평 율리교 캠핑 라이딩. 이른 새벽부터 자전거를 타고 집을 나섰다. 한강 길에 들어서자 마침 남산 타워에 걸린 해가 보였다. 목표지는 양평의 율리교였다. 한강, 남한강 자전거 길을 지나서 중앙선 오빈역 근처에서 6번 국도로 들어서서 20km 정도를 더 달렸다. 국도 길에서는 빠르게 지나가는 차들을 의식하며 있는 힘껏 페달을 밟았다. 그래도 조마조마하긴 마찬가지다. 100km를 달려온 나는 샤워가 꼭 필요했지만 이 곳은 식수, 전기 시설이 없었다. 양평 읍내로 마트에 장을 보러 가는 차를 얻어타서 겨우 목욕탕이라도 갈 수 있었다. 좋은 사람들과의 캠핑. 요 근래 회사 일이 무척 바빠서 정신이 통 없었다. 그러다 팀 사람들과 의기투합하여 캠핑을 오게 되었고, 선선한 바람이 불어오는 그늘막 밑에서 오랜만의 여유로움을 만끽했다. 자전거 좋아하는 웹 개발자입니다.
