Kaycei's Ramblings: August 2008
http://kaycei.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 31, 2008. Gardening - End of August. Last weekend the temperature dropped a bit, and I realized summer is coming to a close. That also means the end of the growing season. My favorite item at the farmers marker, sugar snap peas, were no longer available Thursday. I have a few more garden pictures. My dahlia's are creating buds, so those will start to bloom soon, and then the season will be over. I'm thinking about adding these to my permanent flower list. My largest dahlia bloom. After mak...

Kaycei's Ramblings: February 2009
http://kaycei.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 15, 2009. On January 1st, I started my first batch of seeds (Tomatoes and artichokes). Pretty much every weekend since then has involved my garden. So I feel it is time to show it off. My 144 Marigold seedlings, to go around the garden. My peas (sugar snap and snow), along with some squash and a few other items. The peas are doing too well. I'm going to have to come up with some sort of transplantable trellis for them. These are supposed to be beets, and I'm supposed to be able to eat th...

Kaycei's Ramblings: September 2009
http://kaycei.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Labor Day is past and I can tell fall is coming. Last week I started wearing a light jacket to work. Some of the trees are changing from green to yellow. My dahlias are blooming. The rest of the garden (flowers and vegetables) are winding down for the year. This also means it is time to start planning my flower garden for next year, by preparing beds and selecting spring bulbs. Sorry for the poor quality pictures. My real camera is MIA so I'm stuck using my phone.). Once I'm...

Kaycei's Ramblings: Reflections on the Garden, Summer 2009
http://kaycei.blogspot.com/2009/07/reflections-on-garden-summer-2009.html
Saturday, July 25, 2009. Reflections on the Garden, Summer 2009. I apologize for going so long without an update. Life has been keeping me busy. And on the days I'm not busy, I've been too exhausted, mentally, to post anything here. I still feel worn out, but I am contemplative about the yard right now, and where better to share those thoughts than here. I'm about halfway through the growing season and here's a list of successes, and non-successes, and items that fall in between. Still Waiting to See:.

Kaycei's Ramblings: A Question on Kids Raised by Stay-At-Home Moms
http://kaycei.blogspot.com/2009/11/question-on-kids-raised-by-stay-at-home.html
Thursday, November 5, 2009. A Question on Kids Raised by Stay-At-Home Moms. I'm a bit of a nerd. I've always had problems fitting in with people my age. I assumed it was due to a blend of my Mormon upbringing, moving around every few years, being book-smart and having dorky clothes. (During my tween and teen years, my clothes were a really big issue for me.). November 6, 2009 at 6:19 AM. I dont know and I DONT care. I love you. November 6, 2009 at 3:11 PM. I had a stay-at-home mom. Am I a nerd? All I kno...
