http://vintagedirtbikes.blogspot.com/2013/12/start-polishing-your-insurance-card.html
Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Start Polishing Your Insurance Card. If a wild custom chopper doesn't tug on your beard, or a one hundred ninety H.P. super bike just can't blow your skirt up high enough. Up for your consideration is this post apocalyptic demon machine. Powering this one way ticket to the emergency room is a 1971 Can-Am ZL-1 427-inch aluminum block big block Chevy with a 10-71 blower. If you simply cannot live without a bike such as this, you can contact the demented souls at Sidewinders.

Gymi's Garage: 2014 Vintage Motorcycle Days Swapmeet Bikes
http://vintagedirtbikes.blogspot.com/2014/07/2014-vintage-motorcycle-days-swapmeet.html
Sunday, July 27, 2014. 2014 Vintage Motorcycle Days Swapmeet Bikes. Here are a few of the more interesting bikes I saw at the VMD swap meet. I would have likes to get some racing shots, but time did not allow. A nery nice Alpina. A different take on a TS Suzuki. This custom CB 450 was my favorite at the Café Racer Show. I don't know if it won, but in my opinion, it was light years ahead the other competing bikes. This KR Tracker made my knees weak. A great trail 50 sidehack. I loved this sidehack. Cruisi...

Gymi's Garage: 1978 Yamaha XS500
http://vintagedirtbikes.blogspot.com/2010/07/1978-yamaha-xs500.html
Sunday, July 11, 2010. This bike had been stored outside under a tarp for a couple of years, so there is much oxidation. The good news is, about everything on this bike is interchangeable with the XS650 except the engine. Most of the running gear and some of the electronics can be swapped between these models, so finding parts will not be a problem. Plus ebay is loaded with parts for this bike at pretty reasonable prices. Labels: 1978 yamaha xs500. July 11, 2010 at 6:34 PM. July 11, 2010 at 8:06 PM.

Gymi's Garage: A 1977 Yamaha XS 650
http://vintagedirtbikes.blogspot.com/2009/07/1977-yamaha-xs-650.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. A 1977 Yamaha XS 650. I've been kicking around the idea for a few years now. Building a XS650 street tracker, basically because it cost thousands less than doing a Sporty street tracker. I am also very fond of bobbers, and I'm kinda stuck between wanting to build a bobber and wanting to do a street tracker. If I go down the street tracker route, this is the look I would be looking to achieve. I say keep it stock or Street Tracker. Great Article on the texting below, Gymi. After ca...

Thursday, December 19, 2013. 1977 Harley - Davidson XLCR - $10500. The bike pictured below is the actual bike for sale. Following is the ad:. I have omitted the phone number so the owner doesn't receive calls long after the bike is being enjoyed by it's new owner. Follow this link if you would like to buy the bike. December 19, 2013 at 7:50 PM. Its interesting to see how awareness of the old CRs and XR1000s has grown and their prices too. Back when they were new H-D could scarcely give them away. Some dr...
