Saturday, July 20, 2013. To me, the smell of fresh- made coffee is. One of the greatest inventions. I have had a recipe for coffee grounds playdough for some time and I have finally made a batch. I love it and cannot wait to see the kids use these 'play-grounds'. Here's how- -. 3 c flour (you may need more depending on the consistency you like). 2 c coffee grounds (your local coffee shop may be delighted to give you bag like mine does). 1 c cold coffee. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Another Snow Day and MCL! Oh yes, we had another snow day today. Where do I live? You guessed it, in the 8-14 inch range! We have gotten a ton of white stuff this winter. I think we could have gone to school today, it seems that the snow started later in the day. However, I'm not complaining. I realize that making that decision must be tough. I'm hoping to get to school tomorrow but who knows if I will. I can say that I am excited for SPRING! Is your school already doing it?

Getting to know your students, creating classroom expectations, procedures, open house, and much more. Phew. You know what though? I love having my own class again! Feels so fantastic to get to spend the day with the same students, so I can truly get to know WHO they are.
