My intention was never to become a harp amp manufacturer. I wanted a great amp and the ability to make a few for friends and some other players. The word caught on and next thing you know. here I am. Since the final stages of prototyping the Meteor has remained unchanged. What's next? Hopefully within the next 6 to 8 months we'll be seeing a smaller version of the Meteor. The Meteor Harp Amp. This is it folks. You've found the home of the only REAL harp amp. The Meteor amp is a pure tone monster with 50 watts of pure useable tube tone. The four 6V6's produce a sound that is warm and overdriven like a harp amp is supposed to be. The note definition of the Meteor is crystal clear and never lost even when the amp is set up to be over compressed. Four 6V6 power tubes. Three 12AY7 pre amp tubes. One 12" and two 10" weber speakers. Over 100 tweed colors available.

These guys are close friends, and they have done a lot of design work for me including the photo on the left. Dennis is another good friend and a wizard with microphones. His wife is a real sweetheart too. Brady is the artist behind the design of this very website. Look around and see for yourself. Tuki makes the nicest covers out there. There's even a page on his site for a Meteor cover. These guys know their speakers. I use all Weber speakers in my Meteors.

The Meteor is the only new production amp I sanction. The 6V6 power tubes create a tone in the spirit of Little Walter". Of all the new production amps, the Meteor is by far my favorite. It has amazing range in tone and ability to throw sound. It never needs to be mic'd". I couldn't get home fast enough to plug in my new amp and blow some harp. This amp kicks some serious ass! I would recommend one to anybody. Thanks again from a very happy customer.

The amp on the left belongs to my good friend, Tom Townsley. Not sure why, but purple was the color for him. The amp on the right is a standard Meteor in brown tweed. The first time was at Greg’s booth in the vendor area. He let me A/B it against an identical mic with a good CM element, playing into an amp modeler and headphones.
