State area on Wednesday. So here is the potential set up on Wednesday. Allow a few storms to develop. Wind shear doesn't look horrible Wednesday night, so could see a severe storm or two through the night. In a matter of minutes. April 19, 2010 at 11:58 PM.

Latest NAM runs suggest a CAPE bomb of 2800-3000 j/kg in southern Kansas/northern Oklahoma with good directional wind shear, especially. Show a few discrete. Unidirectional, except in the Dakotas ...

An Open Thank You to Meteorologists in Atlanta

An Open Thank You to Meteorologists in Atlanta. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. An “Open” Thank You Letter to Atlanta Meteorology Community”. I heard something very familiar within these statements with other recent high impact events. Herein, I discuss why our National Weather Service, Television, Academic and Priv...

My life

Sunday, October 22, 2006. Meteorologist, mathematician, now what? A few days ago I got to try my hand at singing. I really like Kenny Rogers so I tried to do a few songs by him. I've yet to hear a recording, but I think for now, I better stick with meteorology and mathematics :). If I ever get a microphone, I'll record something and put it online if it's not too terrible! Found out today that I'll get to see my sister Steph. And my brother Bill next month.I can't wait! Posted by The Weather Man at 3:31 PM.
