http://roadtochimayo.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 10, 2010. More Pictures from the Remodeling. The tile jackhammered up in the entry hall. Kitchen and utility room to the left. A view of the den from the kitchen. Roy's team tearing up tile in the utility room. Looking from the living room into the den and into the garage! A very poorly constructed skylight in the middle of the den. Fortunately, this whole ceiling is going to be re-framed. Friday, April 9, 2010. Phase One: Pre-Demo / Demo. Den/family room before demo. And Baby Makes 6.

Road to Chimayo: July 2009

Monday, July 6, 2009. Fort Morgan and Dad's #76! To compensate for a lack of entries or activity in June (blame Facebook), I offer a selection of photos from the 2009 trip to Fort Morgan, Alabama. We had a wonderful time, basically doing nothing! Mom made a gluten-free white cake for all of us to enjoy, which we served with Blue Bell homemade vanilla and fresh strawberries. More heaven! All in all, it was a truly wonderful stay, and we were all sad to have to leave; however, it's good to be home again.

Road to Chimayo: August 2009

Friday, August 28, 2009. San Francisco highlights - Part One - Cousin Sarah! At the hotel before Sarah took us up to Tiberon. Cousins, but much more like sisters. Mom and Cait in front of the Tiberon ferry. Cheeseburger with fried egg! Dave enjoyed his meal, too! Dinner at Cottage Eatery was great. Sarah and Dave, her sweetheart. My trout was a little bit more healthy than Cait's cheeseburger! Sarah would have been 5'10" if it weren't for her hometown water supply ;). Caitlin kept pointing out similariti...

Road to Chimayo: January 2011
http://roadtochimayo.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. Me and My New Specs! I have submitted. Vanity no longer has a say in the matter. I have trifocals - which are now called progressive lenses. I am part and parcel of my father. I look like him and I inherited his sub-standard vision. Oh well. At least I've held off this long - and I still have my hearing, unlike my little brother who lost his hearing with The Toadies, his former band! Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Steven Alan Spring 2011. Friday, January 14, 2011. Fortunately (or ...

Sunday, February 6, 2011. What's for Dinner - Cincinnati Chili. We had the Friars over for dinner last night, and I decided to try out this new recipe from this month's issue of Bon Appetit. It was amazing. Just amazing. We used lamb, as the recipe called for, and I was astounded at how well the spices complemented the flavor of the lamb. Ground beef is just not an acceptable substitute in this dish. We also served it over gluten-free spaghetti since I have the celiac thing going on. 3 pounds ground lamb.

Road to Chimayo: Steven Alan Spring 2011
http://roadtochimayo.blogspot.com/2011/01/come-on-spring.html
Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Steven Alan Spring 2011. I just caught a glimpse of the new Steven Alan. Spring collection on Facebook. I must say - I am in love. The loose, layered styles without low-rise, tight pants is very appealing. The muted colors are a welcome departure from all the florals and bright colors that inevitably show up each spring (but not from Steven Alan! I like the second one the best. Soooooo cute! January 26, 2011 at 1:45 PM. Yes, the second one is my fave, too! And Baby Makes 6.

Friday, January 22, 2010. Bee is breathing easier! I am going to come back to the blog - my dear aunt is my most avid reader, and I don't want to let her down - so here you are, Aunt Karen! Can't wait for Estes Park! What a day it has been - B. had her adenoids out for the second time today. Yes, they grew back after being removed three years ago! Below are some pictures I took with my new iPhone (wow! What a great phone! With Brigid on her way to recovery, we can now look forward to Disneyland! Francisc...

Road to Chimayo: December 2009
http://roadtochimayo.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. What a wild and crazy day yesterday! My step-daughter Jillian was driving down to see us (a 6 hour drive) and four hours into it, her car died on the interstate in a rural area. So I drove out to get her, and all turned out ok - in fact, we're going car shopping this morning! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Texasyeehaw., United States. View my complete profile.
