A Little Roller Up Along First: October 2006

A Little Roller Up Along First. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Mets News from Today. In Mark Hale's Column, he wants to come back to the Mets, but the Mets might not be willing to give him a multiyear deal he is looking for. Who can blame the Mets though, nobody in America knows how old this guy is, probably not even El Duque, he had to have lost track once he went over the hill. In the same article it says relievers Guillermo Mota, Chad Bradford and Roberto Hernandez all filed for free agency. Another Winte...

New York Mets Fantasy Camp - Return to Mecca. Where else can you suit up and play sports with your childhood heroes? Once again, I'm off to Florida to pull muscles large and small with the New York Mets, at their annual Fantasy Camp. Friday, January 19, 2007. Day One - Some Things Never Change. So I run into Bobby Wine in the locker room. "What's your name? Has asks me. Happiness washes over me. "Brown," I tell him. "Are you any good? Oh, it's just the way I remember it. On the Field, Day One. In fact, i...

Once again, I'm off to Florida to pull muscles large and small with the New York Mets, at their annual Fantasy Camp. Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Only a Fool Climbs Mount Fuji Twice. Two years ago, I went off to Florida, laced up my cleats, and gamboled in the grass with a hundred other guys at New York Mets Fantasy Camp. So, apart from the sheer indulgence of it, why would one go back?

A Little Roller Up Along First: January 2007
http://alittlerollerupalongfirst.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
A Little Roller Up Along First. Thursday, January 11, 2007. Mets Sign Scott Shoeneweis for 3 Years. According to the AP the Mets have inked Scott Schoeneweis. For a 3 year deal worth 10.8 million dollars. Schoeneweis was 4-2 with a 4.88 ERA and four saves in 71 games last year in split action between the Blue Jays and the Reds. This deal doesn't really make too much sense to me. They refused to give. Chad Bradford 11 million for 3 years, but give. Good to be back. Posted by Adam Niciewski @ 7:38 PM.

A Little Roller Up Along First: March 2007
http://alittlerollerupalongfirst.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
A Little Roller Up Along First. Monday, March 26, 2007. With Pedro out until at least. Will give the opportunities. To some young guys to show what they can do on the big league stage. After Tom Glavine. And Orlando Hernandez the rotation is comprised of John Maine, Oliver Perez, and Mike Pelfrey. I expect another solid year from Glavine. Who needs only 10 wins to get to 300, which should be an incredible spectacle, which we only hope will happen at Shea. El Duque. Have guys in the bullpen, Aaron Sele.

Once again, I'm off to Florida to pull muscles large and small with the New York Mets, at their annual Fantasy Camp. Monday, January 22, 2007. Day Four - A Big No-No. Then Zachry walked in, and Stearns presented him with his noose. Zachry replied in his trademark west Texas deputy dog drawl without missing a beat, "I always wanted to be hung.". So Duffy complained colorfully to the umpire,...
