Oh The Places You'll Go. Thursday, April 21, 2011. A few days back the girls and I had a really good day. It started with nest building for a pair of salt dough birds we made a couple of months back. In the middle we went on a short (distance wise)/long (time wise) wander along a dirt road along the levy. Then we went to the dollar store to buy marshmallow eggs for the nest we made. Eva spied PEEPs and they, of course, became the marshmallows of choice for our nest. It was a mighty fine day.

Oh The Places You'll Go. Sunday, March 28, 2010. Whitney Pockets - Spring Break 2010! What a wonderful time we had out in the desert during Weston's spring break. I have to say that is one of the best parts of being a student - an entire week of holiday. I don't know if I have mentioned enough lately how much Weston and I missed the hot desert while we were living in Montana, but, oh my, HOW WE MISSED IT! Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Shall we start with pies again? The pie quintet is now an octet. Although honestly, Iris and I didn't really deserve pie aprons this year. Iris just sits around looking cute. And all I did was put down a layer of bananas in a pie pan and then scurry out of the kitchen to avoid pie. Two thirds of the chaos. Mmmm, more sugar.
