During my last Colorado adventure, the gang and I headed up to Eagle Lake Camp. For chapel on Sunday morning. Eagle lake is where I met my best friend. Her future husband, my little sister. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. A portrait of my baby boy, once a week, every week in 2014.". While Emmett was sick the last week , we spent a lot of time finding creative ways to cheer him up. Water was the biggest hit. We took baths, ran through sprinklers, and turned the hose on and off and on and off again as many times as he wanted to keep a smile on his face. Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Keepin' It Real: Workin' Too Much. Linking up with Corinna over at Track 8. For this week's installment of Keepin' It Real Mondays. I saw my baby for a total of 45 minutes today. NOT. ENOUGH. Working is the worst sometimes. Today I was stuck at work for an extra hour and a half- the hour and a half that I normally spend with Emmett before he goes to bed. It was a hard, sad day for both of us. That's real life for me today y'all. I promise a more upbeat post later in the week!

Friday, January 16, 2015. Little blog of mine. The last thing I have written in my drafts is an update on the baby at 10 weeks from August 25, 2014. It's been so long since I've opened this site, it took me a minute to remember how to access it. It's 3:00 am and I couldn't sleep, and somehow, my thoughts landed here. I just remember the bliss. ME WITH THE THREE. When they're old enough to go to prom. They'll forever hold a big part of our hearts. We met most of them when they were in 7th grade. and now they're old enough to have gone to their senior prom. Which means they're graduating. And if I contemplate that too much there will be much emotion. And not much brings emotion like that. So we'll just look at some photos of their night. They're fun. We kind of like them. A lot. When blog friends become real life friends. And much love was shared.
