I've been thinking a lot about boxes - limitations caused indoctrination in gender, race or economic situation. Rooms are nothing more than large boxes and in those boxes we find ourselves bound. Our box and the people we find ourselves with in them provides a framework for how we see the world. What if the people were never in that room with space and truth skewed and all time was suspended?

Monday, July 6, 2015. Here's some from my experiment the other day. I converted them to black and white because I felt that the colors were too distracting. I especially like the top one as a family portrait. In these pictures I played with the gaze - switching photographers and rules and keeping the subject not quite sure what was happening - all the while taking pictures.
