I maintained a part-time general psychiatric practice for 30 years, which included psychotherapy, the prescription of medication, and all administrative responsibilities associated with my practice. I currently see only psychotic patients who might benefit from psychotherapy, but who continue in treatment with another primary psychiatrist or treatment team.
