MGB-GT Project

I bought a 1967 MGB-GT, my third British car.but this one runs! Monday, May 6, 2013. Well the GT has been on the road for about 2 months now. She's been to two car shows and won best in class in one of them. She's run pretty well and has been on a few 100 mile shakedown road trips. She is now my daily driver but not all is rosy. Well the Roadster engine/gearbox is just about ready to go into the GT. All I have to do is drain the oil from them both and refill them, change the filter on the engine and put the motor mounts on. This with rebuilt but not-yet-balanced carbs and an engine I rebuilt in 1989 with over 100k miles on it since. I bought a 1967 MGB-GT, my third British car.but this one runs! Monday, February 28, 2011. 2-28-2011 It's the brake cylinders stupid- -and.re-compressing. So I checked the brake master cylinder on the GT just before a shitstorm. Of rain and wind hit today. The master was about half full of brake fluid though I just filled it two weeks ago and have only driven the car a few dozen miles since. I spun a bearing in the GT engine just driving down the road so I decided to scavenge the roadster engine and gearbox to get it running again.
