1954 MGTF - 0781. Monday, November 11, 2013. What's happened after finishing. November 9, 2013. THE OIL PRESSURE DROP. When I was returning home from an MG show in late spring, I noticed the oil pressure needle starting to move down and dropped to about 25psi. As the following photos will show, I used copper tubing to carry the hot water from the radiator and then back to the radiator after passing through the heater. As can be seen in the photo below, I used a typical cut-off valve for the return hot water source. A close-up of the return tubing. A close up of the return copper tubing into the 'Y' branch pipe. As the photos below will show, I was interested in access to the carbs without concern to appearances. This cut-out is what I had a local machine shop do to side panel.
