Minor Hockey Fights Cancer was created in 2010 by then twelve year-old Mark Mannarn. After losing his grandmother to pancreatic cancer in 2010 and seeing his mother diagnosed with breast cancer in the same year, Mark wanted to fight back. He launched Minor Hockey Fights Cancer to raise money and awareness to help find a cure for cancer. מכבי חיפה – סטטיסטיקה וניתוחים טקטיים. אחד השינויים הגדולים במכבי חיפה מאז הקיץ האחרון (ויש לא מעט) הוא נושא ההדלפות. המועדון הירוק מינה מנכל חדש השם לעצמו מטרה ברורה – הפסקת כל זליגה של תכנים מקצועיים וחברתיים ממתחם האימונים וחדר ההלבשה. מהלך זה כמובן מכעיס את העיתונאים (התרגלו במשך שנים לקבל מידע על בסיס יום יומי גם מבכירים במערכת), ואצל חלקם אפילו מעלה את המוטיבציה כאשר הם רואים כהישג הצלחה בניחוש ההרכב המשוער כיממה או שתיים לפני המשחק, אבל העיתונאים צריכים להבין שכל הדלפה, בעיקר מקצועית, פוגעת בקבוצה.
