The Clark Chronicles: Pre-School
http://theclarkchronicles1.blogspot.com/2009/08/pre-school.html
Thursday, August 27, 2009. Today was Mason's first day of preschool. He is going to a local church program two mornings a week. I had a few doubts about whether I was pushing him into preschool too early.as my Daddy pointed out, he isn't even 2 yet. But all my doubts went away when I watched Mason march right into his classroom and not even glance back at me! It was definitely a far cry from the Darius Rucker song, which is the scene I had played out in my head. Au contraire.Mason loved it! Subscribe to:...

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Last Day of Preschool. Day of preschool. Ever. In a few short months he will be a kindergartener! I can so clearly remember his first day of preschool. Wow, time flies! Ro finished up 3K today. Next year he will have Mason's same sweet teachers that have done such a fabulous job of getting him ready for "real school.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Clark Chronicles: A Happy Day with a Tinge of Sadness
http://theclarkchronicles1.blogspot.com/2013/03/a-happy-day-with-tinge-of-sadness.html
Thursday, March 21, 2013. A Happy Day with a Tinge of Sadness. Duncan's first birthday was the first time I've felt any sadness on the birthday of one of my children. Usually I think about how I can't remember what life was like before they were born, and how the day they were born seems SO long ago. With Duncan I feel different. The past year has flown by with high highs and low lows. I am thankful for Duncan, this precious gift that God has given us, but I can't help but feel sad that my babies are gro...

The Clark Chronicles: October 2012
http://theclarkchronicles1.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 19, 2012. It's been a while since I've posted anything on my blog.and now I'm here to write a post that I can't believe I'm writing. We have just recently found out that sweet Duncan had a stroke around the time he was born. I mentioned all of this to his pediatrician at his 6-month check-up, he saw what I meant, but thought we should wait and see if he started using his right hand more by his 9-month check-up. I just couldn't shake it. I knew something was not right. Although the neurolo...

The Clark Chronicles: Easter 2013
http://theclarkchronicles1.blogspot.com/2013/04/easter-2013.html
Wednesday, April 3, 2013. We put flowers on the cross at church on Sunday morning. I love this tradition! And tried to get family pictures.except that we were running late and no one was left in the breezeway to snap a picture of all of us so Graem and I had to trade off! If you know my husband, you know he has ZERO patience for being late.one of the main sources of discord in our marriage since I'm forever late.therefore he snapped a picture as quickly as possible, resulting in this:. Uncle Steve.th...

The Clark Chronicles: July 2012
http://theclarkchronicles1.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 20, 2012. Mason and Roper saw me taking Duncan's 4-month pictures and wanted in on the action.here they are pretending to be baby D. Three of the last four blog posts that I've done have been of Duncan and his monthly pictures! I've taken lots of pictures I just haven't made the time to update my blog. Now I've let so much time go by that I can hardly remember our trip to Vancouver back in May! He goes to the pediatrician for his 4-month check-up next week, so I'll post stats then! Urban Gra...

The Clark Chronicles: April 2013
http://theclarkchronicles1.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 4, 2013. A very loose timeline. We have known for years that we eventually wanted to live on the lake. We started casually looking at lake properties about 5 years ago. We knew it would take time to find the right one, and we were willing to be patient. We had several criteria that we weren't willing to budge on:. We had to have a dock. You had to be able to jump in the water off the dock. The house had to have 4 bedrooms and a garage. I'm SO glad we didn't get her lot! We crunched some n...

The Clark Chronicles: May 2012
http://theclarkchronicles1.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 18, 2012. I'm still catching up on April news.Roper woke up the second morning of spring break insisting that he wear big boy underwear. The timing wasn't ideal.I had not intended to potty train Roper while Duncan was only 3 weeks old.I was hoping to start sometime in the summer.but how do you say "no" to a 2-year-old that wants to give all his diapers to his baby brother? He embraced potty training.not to say we haven't had. He made the mistake of checking in. I take a very relaxed approach ...
