Top ten in Santiago. No priority of order. 1 People very friendly. 2 Very disability friendly - Craig offered wheelchairs and lifts everywhere we went and we didn't have to queue as given priority. 3 Street Art is amazing. 4 Loretto Hotel excellent- good breakfast , clean, helpful and well located. 10 Getting the Blog started.

Saturday, September 18, 2010. A whole day without feeling any earthquakes. The earthquake has been doing strange things to people. Who would have thought that Bob Parker would become so popular that in the Auckland supercity he is the preferred mayor as well! 71 shakes are certainly enough to put everyone on edge but I think it is the aftershocks and the continuous broken sleep that doesn't help. Monday, September 13, 2010. The ramblings: Initial Posting. The ramblings: Initial Posting.

Monday, May 4, 2015. We had an early start this morning with a pick up time of 7.30am. It was goodbye Buenos Aires and we flew to Iguazu. We were collected by Eduardo who speaks excellent English and we went to the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls. Fernanda was enthusiastic about being in her country. I took loads of photos because the day was so beautiful. One of the seven wonders of the world. Such a gorgeous phot of us falls and rainbows. Angela and Willa posing at the elevator with Fernanda taking pictures.

Friday, May 1, 2015. Labour Day in Buenos Aires. First of all Empanadas are spelt like this and look like this. They taste delicious and we had another one for lunch today. Yesterday I gave the recipes. Today we had a slow start and we left the hotel at midday and got back at 6pm. I have to say I an stuffed in a tired way rather than with food like yesterday. We then headed off to Puerto Madero and walked along the river. There were some amazing buildings. Said buildings and one more. Now we are safely e...
