Monday, February 16, 2015. This past week Michael and I were feeling a bit stir-crazy and wanted to get out of dodge for a day or two. We decided to go up to Hershey, Pennsylvania (about three hours away) and visit Chocolate World. And then headed down to the hotel pool. Chilling in the warm air before heading back to our room. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. It was so great having my dad come up for a few days at the end of my mom's visit. He had brought a little pirate ship kit from Lowes to make with Robbie. Robbie hammered a few times but preferred to have Bapa do it. Note the awesome necklaces Robbie is wearing. A pirate ship and a green smoothie mustache. Nice. Monday, July 27, 2015. Henry at eight weeks. Henry is growing so much! Henry gives Clara great smiles- she spends a lot of time by him and loves to hold him and talk to him. Robbie loves holding him as well but for less than a minute at a time. We just are loving this guy so much and pray that he'll be valiant and faithful. I am so glad he has joined our family! Saturday, May 16, 2015. However, after about half an hour of rain, the sun came out. Yay! My table runners were soaked, so we had to take those off the tables (should have taken them off beforehand, urgh). But other than that, the evening turned into a beautiful night and it was a lot of fun. It was fun finding tablescape ideas- thanks to Pinterest, I hollowed out pineapples and put fresh flowers in them and filled some mason jars with sand, shells, and a floating candle. Tiki torches light the way.

Friday, March 22, 2013. It took Senendra a little while to warm up to the camera and photographer. Luckily she has lots of older brothers who were trying to make her smile. Zadek is just always full of smiles with those big bright eyes. Caellum did a great job smiling even though he thought the girl taking pictures was CRAZY. I'm so glad Javin actually smiled. He's usually busy making faces but these turned out cute. This is Javin's favorite picture of himself. They all turned out great!

Monday, November 5, 2012. My parents did a Halloween party this year where we made JUNKINS. They're super fun and cute. You put junk into the pumpkins and then make faces and such. Then we had dinner and did smores around the fire. The kids love to do this. Here's Ryan helping the kids get their junk on the pumpkins. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Happy birthday, Anne! We celebrated Anne's 1st birthday last week on November 16 th. We can't believe she's already a year old. Time seems to go by much more quickly with your second than it does with the first. But at the same time, our days in the NICU. With Anne seem like a lifetime ago. After eleven months with a healthy, happy baby in our home, the pain and heartache of one year ago have softened into tender memories.and feelings of deep gratitude. Genes in this one?

Saturday, March 24, 2018. Snow and other fun. Well, despite it being the first day of spring this week, apparently Old Man Winter didn't want to go out without a bang. We have hardly gotten any snow this season, and then in the last two weeks it has snowed twice. It has been fun, though, to get a good snow in and make use of those snow clothes before they're outgrown. The kids love it when Michael gives piggyback rides. Thank goodness Michael is strong- Clara is getting so big! Trudging up the hill.
