Sunday, September 30, 2012. On Saturday Becky and I took the kids on a much anticipated hike up to the Y. The older three kids have been asking and asking to do this for over a year, Candace and Joshua even longer. Here is the group at the trail head. Any rock we found, the kids loved to stop and sit on them. Luke was quite the trooper. He walked about half of the way up. Aunt Becky. She helped so much. We never could have made it without her. She carried Luke a huge portion of the hike. The tiny dot in ...

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. So I decided to get around to updating my blog and I checked to see what pictures I had that were new and I found.ZERO! I'm the best picture taker. We did do some fun things in August and September like camping, visiting family, playing with friends etc. So here are some pictureless highlights so you know we are still alive. He's old. haha! I'm old.25. And I'm starting to get wrinkles under my eyes. What the heck? Josh graduates with his MBA! We're having a baby!

Sunday, April 29, 2012. Here he is at the first ER in Gilbert. He was a million times better once he got some morphine. He kept making weird faces while on the morphine and scrunching his nose. It was pretty funny. At the burn center he had all the blisters scraped and was mummy wrapped with various creams and bandages. He was still smiling despite all the blisters. Probably from the good meds and he's pretty good-natured. Here he is almost ready to head home for the night. I should have taken a picture ...

Sunday, May 01, 2011. One thing I will always remember is how excited she was when we named Pacer. Pacer was her grandpa's nickname. Everyone called him Pop Pacer. When we took our Pacer to meet her there was a bunch of family around and she kept stopping everyone and saying, "Do you know what this kid's name is? It's Pop Pacer just like my Grandpa." And then she just kept calling him Pop Pacer. We're going to miss her and the example she was to us. Posted by Meagan Rogers. Easter was so fun! We celebrat...

Monday, February 27, 2012. It has really been a year! His health is also really good. He still has the issue with his urinary tract but it doesn't really have any outward effects. We're hoping after his scan this month it will be completely taken care of. Other than that there aren't any lasting effects of being born early. We've been very lucky with him. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Christmas and the Park! So unfortunately, I did not take a camera to my mom's for Christmas. I was sick the whole time and documenting it just wasn't happening! We had a beautiful traditional year. I loved being with my family and enjoying the season. The kids were happy to get home and use all of their goods! He's such a natural physically. Definitely takes after his dad. He looks like me and acts like Josh! Our two oldest are little opposites. Posted by Meagan Rogers.

Thursday, October 06, 2011. I always love an excuse to go north. I think that no matter how long we live in the valley it will never feel quite like home the way it does up there. My kids loved the county fair. It really is the best time of year! All the vegetables are ready. The weather is perfect and there is always lots of good fun and good company. We had some good times this year! The kids favorites were the giant slide, cotton candy, and the animals! Posted by Meagan Rogers. Carter, Rylin, Brielle).

Saturday, January 29, 2011. What a difference a week makes. Carter weighs 3 pounds today! He's doing great. His little face is starting to fill out. He's slowly getting more milk (through the feeding tube) and less from the IV. In another week they think he might start "nippling" or using a bottle. Every day feels better. I can't wait to get this sweet baby home. Posted by Josh n' Meagan. Saturday, January 22, 2011. They said the NICU would be full of ups and downs. They weren't kidding! So here's the br...

Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Now it feels like we are starting over. It may or may not effect his timeline for coming home. It can be something as simple as medication to treat his billi levels or as serious as liver failure (and everything in between of course). Hopefully we'll know by the end of the week. Until then looks like a bit more time in the hospital. Posted by Meagan Rogers. Sunday, February 06, 2011. Are the rest of you enjoying this cold, dry, winter air? Posted by Josh n' Meagan.
