We're a young married couple living our dreams under the hot Arizona sun! Apr 10, 2010. Home improvement. Correction: Home repair. Gutters are a big priority because even without a horizontal seam (like there used to be) the bottom edge of the siding soaks up water splashing up from the ground. Most of our neighbors don't have gutters either. I know AZ doesn't get much rain compared the rest of the US, but really, not gutters? Oh well, we'll just have to install some. Michael and Katy’s attempt to update those interested in the progress of our new house project. The pictures shown on the side of this page include the original house as it looked when we bought it, and a couple shots after the trees, house, pool, etc. were removed, preparing the lot for construction of our new house. We have pictures of progress on the next pages. However, this is a good place for Katy to begin her thoughts on the building of what we refer to as Our Very Last House- EVER.

Logan was in awe of the thunder and pouring rain, but he does love to go outside and that was obviously out of the question. Michael found a tree frog in the garage and brought it inside for entertainment (I told you we were bored! Logan wanted to touch it so badly, but was unsure and he really got tickled when it jumped. It landed on.
