Ordinary is Interesting: September 2010
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
A place to share the way I see the world. Where am I going, and what will I find? On my way back I shot some photos. The road trip was, in the end, worthwhile: I drove somewhere new and found something I liked. A lot. And not just a small, half arch of color. A huge, full rainbow right above me. Needless to say, I might have blown through the last stop sign on the way home (it's not a terribly busy street, anyway) in the race to capture the beautiful arch. And I made it! At the end of July, I had the gre...

Ordinary is Interesting: May 2010
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
A place to share the way I see the world. After 13 awesome - and strenuous - months, it came time to say goodbye to two furry kitties. Really, they just moved down the street from me. My roommate moved, and so too, did her cats. We got them just a week after having moved in to a new apartment:. And will fall asleep in anyone's arms after ten minutes. She got the name of my favorite cat, my aunt's cat, Bella.). Make me a Latham". Since freshman year of college, Leah has been one of the sweetest, kindest, ...

Ordinary is Interesting: Change is Good
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2011/06/change-is-good.html
A place to share the way I see the world. After much consideration, I have decided to switch up my blog a bit; though I've liked using Blogger, Wordpress has caught my eye and I am officially changing over! With a new outlet comes a new name: Keeping Composure. I was inspired by a quote by photographer Matt Hardy: "Beauty can be seen in all things; seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.". Ordinary is Interesting: Lunch Break
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2011/02/lunch-break.html
A place to share the way I see the world. I had a longer lunch break yesterday at Copper, and decided to get the camera out and take a walk. This is where I work (in the back of the Copper Sports Center):. Center Village at Copper is my home 5 out of 7 days a week (and when I decide to ride, that makes 6 days! This year's been a great year - we've already doubled the amount of snow that fell during the entire season last year. I could do without as many brutally-cold days, though. View my complete profile.

Ordinary is Interesting: Happy Tails...
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2011/06/happy-tails.html
A place to share the way I see the world. Emily and her poodle, Ollie were great companions for the beginning of the Tenmile Canyon Trail from Copper. I couldn't ask for a better dog and a more beautiful woman to share the walk with! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A St Louis native, I don't know what I would do without photography. I finished a photography and a Spanish degree at Webster University in StL. I recently made a move out to Colorado, and couldn't be more happy. Change is good.

Ordinary is Interesting: March 2010
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
A place to share the way I see the world. Head shots and more. I was fortunate enough to get together with some of my favorite CHS girls in the studio on Sunday. Nis is an amazing singer and performer, not to mention absolutely beautiful in front of the camera! I hadn't been in the studio for a while, but it's hard to mess up a head shot of such a pretty face. And we even convinced Jo to stand in for a few minutes, which led to some pretty awesome images of the two together. So adorable! It doesn't take ...

Ordinary is Interesting: June 2010
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
A place to share the way I see the world. Although we haven't been able to explore too many places, we did go on a hike that overlooked the beautiful Dillon lake. We live below the dam at one end of the lake. That being said, sometimes I don't need to go further than our backyard - or back porch - to see a beautiful landscape. Here is our view at sunset looking out at the Dillon dam, with Keystone peeking out in the distance. Row, row, row your boat. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Ordinary is Interesting: A Sunday Stroll to Rainbow Lake
http://ordinaryisinteresting.blogspot.com/2011/06/sunday-stroll-to-rainbow-lake.html
A place to share the way I see the world. A Sunday Stroll to Rainbow Lake. After the half-day trek from Copper Mountain to Frisco on Saturday, I decided on a shorter hike to take on Sunday. The walk to Rainbow Lake from Frisco was perfect - it was easy, for which my legs were very thankful. I think I walked away with more mud on me than was on just my shoes! 6/6/11, 6:13 PM. You have a gift of making everything look so beautiful- or maybe seeing the beautiful in Everything. View my complete profile.

A place to share the way I see the world. These Are a Few of My Favorite Things. Having found some extra down time during May in Summit County, I found myself on an extended vacation back home to St. Louis, Missouri. Talk about a difference in weather! Cold, rainy days turned into humid and hot - very hot! If the sun was out, so was I, camera in tow. I made my way to some of my favorite spots in the city. The St. Louis Art Museum. The Laumeier Sculpture Park. In Webster Groves: Another personal favorite,...
