Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Two weeks ago at Zoey's 9 month checkup, we were surprised to find out that she had lost almost 2 pounds over the past 3 months. I was sad and a little worried. Okay, a lot worried. It is my baby girl after all! But after talking to the doctor and discussing things and her behavior, he thought that she was not getting enough calories, and it may or may not have had anything to do with the nursing strike. Saturday, December 13, 2014. We have done a few festive things in the last few weeks that I thought I would document. To start, we put up our Christmas decorations! It makes everything feel so fun and festive. I still can't believe that Christmas will be here in, well 12 days, I guess. It is crazy how the time has flown! I love her face in this one. Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Penelope is 2 months. Our little Penelope is 2 months old. It feels like it has gone by really fast. Maybe because it has been a hard couple of months with the reflux and sleep problems. I am really hoping things get better soon so she will feel and sleep better, particularly sleep better since that is where we have so much trouble. Wednesday, May 28, 2014. This past Monday was Memorial day, so Robbie had the day off of school and a 3 day weekend! He only had one week back at school and he is already getting a break! But I think it good for him to let the new experiences in clinic from the week before set in before he went back at it. We had a nice long weekend together as a family. Thursday, August 6, 2015. There is something about a baby's smile that is highly contagious and just makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Monday, July 27, 2015. We have been taking it pretty easy this summer with the new baby and all. Not to mention, it is a billion degrees outside, so we haven't been venturing out much. Sunday, July 20, 2014. It has been a pretty low key month so far. We have spent a lot of time swimming and trying to stay cool. We have gone on a few outings with friends and had some fun. Here are some of the highlights. We went to the zoo earlier in the month. There was some beautiful weather around the 4th of July with highs only in the upper 70's or so.
