Life in our Zoo. Thursday, July 28, 2011. The Beast Goes East. Yes, I don't seem to blog anymore, but I have a friend who would like me to start up again. I just might, we shall see, but don't hold your breath! We are heading on a very very very long road trip. 3,500 miles round trip, at least. The kids are thrilled, the parents are a little scared. 5 kids, 12 passenger van and a camper. This will be great, right? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Life in our Zoo: Getting back on track
http://tonya-lifeinourzoo.blogspot.com/2012/10/getting-back-on-track.html
Life in our Zoo. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Getting back on track. Homeschooling has been slightly scattered this year so far. I didn't set a "schedule" up for myself and have been just kind of winging it. I don't ever make a strict schedule, but more of a guideline for what should happen next each day. I'm trying to get things a little less scattered, so I'm trying to come up with things to do to make that happen. That's as far as I've gotten! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life in our Zoo. Thursday, November 8, 2012. I met a family who just moved to Colorado Springs recently. She mentioned finding a local hike and I gave her a bunch of places that we love to take kids here in the Springs. I figured maybe other people would live here or visit here and want the same info, so I'll put it here on my blog. Bear Creek Nature Center. Castlewood Canyon State Park. Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Section 16, Black Forest. All of these places have hiking and are free! Imagine my joy thi...

Life in our Zoo. Monday, September 26, 2011. Motivation, Part II. I love Sally Clarkson. Her books, her blog, her words. She speaks my heart over and over and over again. Her blog today fit perfectly with my post the other day about motivation. I Heard Him Call Come Follow. 8220;Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise, Thou my inheritance, now and always; Thou and thou only first in my heart, High king of heaven, my treasure thou art.”. http://carrchronicles.blogspot.com/2011/06/jesus-help-bella-bee.html
An ongoing chronicle of the many adventures and daily happenings of this branch of the Carr Clan. June 08, 2011. Annabella is quite the conversationalist these days, and so many people keep telling me I should write all the fun things she says down. and they're right I should! So here I go. :-) I have several more "thought-provoking" posts rattling around in my head, that perhaps one of these days I'll get down to actually writing, but for now. enjoy Annabella's little quips of wisdom. Life in our Zoo: April 2012
http://tonya-lifeinourzoo.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Life in our Zoo. Thursday, April 19, 2012. I've had a few questions about why I don't blog much or when am I going to blog again. I don't really have a good answer. Although I have been dealing with a whole lot of complete burnout for a while and just don't feel like I have anything positive to blog about. I thought maybe I could blog about burnout! At this point I feel even more tired, frustrated, exhausted and kind of without hope. Don't lecture me. Just being real. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Seth - o...

I actually picked it up yesterday, drove it home, called the shop and took it back. The alignment is still messed up. We are out of milk, eggs and many other things, but no one is starving yet! For now, I am going to use something called, Organic Homeschooling. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Eric - my husband of 17 years!
