For over 40 years, his pianistic and teaching skills have made music accessible to a variety of children and adults on three continents. Dr Braz is a member of the Statesboro Kiwanis Club and participates in a variety of community volunteer activities. His hobbies are comparative religions and trekking in the Nepal Himalaya.

I've worked for a long time with my friend, the composer Tim Risher, as part of Paragaté, a fluid group that Tim started in the late 1980s. Our thirty-year collaboration has been a big influence on me. Others threads are a lifetime of close listening to many kinds of music, and training in composition, piano, and chamber music. Posted by Tom DePlonty. In the late 1980s, I thought about writing a set of songs, or an oratorio, using words from William Blake's poem The Book of Urizen. Is Blake's version of The Fall, written in the voice of a prophet. I was never able to finish the piece, which was out of my reach for a lot of reasons. Michael started his retail career while a. After obtaining his MBA with a concentration in Finance from VPI, Michael left Bed, Bath and Beyond to start his own management consulting firm. He is currently an Associate Professor of Business Management, Marketing, and Finance at Northern Virginia Community College, located in the heart of the Northern Virginia Technology corridor.
