Noah started his 3's preschool class last monday too. he is doing great. he's already earned three trips to the treasure box! It's been a little strange and much more quiet as i've only been driving noah to preschool. it gives us some special one on one time that noah and i have never gotten. i think it works out well and noah probably could use some focused attention these days. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. It has been a fun and busy summer! Thanks for being patient with me as i haven't blogged in a couple months. hopefully with the routine of school and work starting i'll get better! This summer was full of fun little trips. we spent some time at my sister's house in summerville, sc, the beach, the whole brietzke/peters family took a trip to tennessee, and we had lots of weekend visitors, like grammie and papa! Please continue to pray for us as i know that helps so much!

I have had the opportunity to be at home while our family is getting back on its feet from the birth of our second child - Harper. Ben, Rachel and Avery. Thursday, August 7, 2008. The sweet people in the Accounting and Administration department at Rapides Hospital threw Ben and I a baby shower on Friday, August 1, 2008. Ben works in Accounting and my mom works in Administration. We had such a good time and Avery got some very nice things. She got some precious booties, a newborn gown and a great gift card to Wal-Mart. I have a feeling we will have lots of visitors. Ben and I with the cake! Newborn nightgown from Jennifer.

Of course, when it was time for her to put her clothes on I had to wipe all of it off. I could not let her go out of the house looking like that! She made sure to tell me 'mama, do not wipe my make up off'. So I told a big fib - 'Addy, let me wipe your nose'. She did not know that I managed to hit her whole face! I LOVE MY GIRLY GIRL!

The garage doors are going in. they are cedar on front and insulated , they really look great. The tile is being started in master bath. Painting is under way, i decided to just paint the house one color and then once we are in and i have some time to think about what i want to do in each room, i will change the colors.
