The instructor taught everyone how to make bacon. From pork. Real pork. She was given a slab of pork, rubbed it down with cracked pepper – her spice of choice – and it was smoked and cured. Well, green for now. Damn state will likely be on fire this summer. We took the puppy up to Multnomah Falls. My family tried to warn me how much our lives would change when we told them we would be getting a puppy. They were right. Everything revolves around him. Gratitude… what is it? It’s been years since I’ve done a pullup. And frankly I’ve gained a few pounds since then. So here we are. Tonight I celebrate with a fine steak dinner, accompanied by my beautiful wife. This morning she gave me the gift of The Beatles, in CD. I don’t think she knows how much I love her. The joys of real bacon…. The internet is all about me.
