Michael Drayton, Detective. The Development of a Novel Step-by-Excruciating-Step or "Every Day I Write the Book". Sunday, May 16, 2010. I finished going through the entire manuscript a couple of days ago and now have a PDF version available to well-wishers. There were problems with the e-pub version that will require different software to fix. We'll see what happens with that. Links to this post. Tuesday, May 04, 2010. I've been busy over the last couple of weeks in converting the Dead in His Tracks.

Michael Drayton, Detective. The Development of a Novel Step-by-Excruciating-Step or "Every Day I Write the Book". Friday, January 22, 2010. As I've worked at revising my book, it has taken an increasingly serious turn. What started out as a comic mystery has turned into a literary mystery, and the title Michael Drayton, Detective Guy. The new title of the book will be Dead in His Tracks. I am very excited at the possibility of having a manuscript that I can submit places in the not-too-distant future.

Michael Drayton, Detective. The Development of a Novel Step-by-Excruciating-Step or "Every Day I Write the Book". Thursday, February 18, 2010. Since my previous post, I have been creating, from whole cloth, a new Chapter 7. The events leading up to this momentous event are as follows: When I started this revision way back in the distant past. I found that I needed to combine what had been Chapters 1 and 2. This meant that Chapter 3 became Chapter 2 and so forth along the line. Links to this post.

Michael Drayton, Detective. The Development of a Novel Step-by-Excruciating-Step or "Every Day I Write the Book". Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Now that it is done, now that Dead in His Tracks. Given all my feelings about this, Dead in His Tracks. Will probably become a #1 international bestseller and then a movie- most likely in 3-D- starring some pretty boy who can't act. Or. Next in the Series: The Blog. Subscribe in a reader. Monday, May 18, 2009. A New Approach Deserves a New Look. Since I'm angling to get the show done as a podcast, I have decided to redesign the website. As part of that, I've redone the logo to reflect the notion of it being in support of a podcast. Here's what I came up with:. It's based on the original one, the one that I paid cash money for, and one that I think is wonderful. I just needed it to say the word "podcast.". Next in the Series: The Blog. Subscribe in a reader. Friday, September 05, 2014. All Life Is- What? I was going to let a lot of this go until I read this particularly idiotic piece. On The New Yorker's website. It concerns the death of Joan Rivers and seeks to justify all the hate-filled blather she vomited up over the course of her career, and it turned my stomach. That life is shitty? Kindness, virtue, nobility, knowledge, and empathy are dross? She did if she wanted looks of horror. That is the excuse...

Next in the Series: The Blog. Subscribe in a reader. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. I've decided to go ahead with the podcast using the resources available to me, probably beginning in January and continuing at a rate of one episode per month. Adapting the first one, which was called "Seminar," was a piece of cake. I turned the whole thing around in two evenings- and late evenings at that. I still need to take one more pass at it, but it's in pretty good shape as it stands. Steven Mithen (2006) proposes th...

Next in the Series: The Blog. Subscribe in a reader. Wednesday, January 02, 2008. As time is passing, I'm seeing less and less reason for maintaining this blog. The radio series that it was meant to support never got going and even if I do manage to move forward with it as a piece of audio publishing, a new name will have to be found, something with the word "Theater" in it, just to make it marketable. Although, some months ago, I had to admit to myself that I couldn't make Next in the Series. And so, I've started to think about it again, only, this time, I plan to concentrate on the world of audio publishing rather than radio. I doubt that anything will come of this soon. It's all very back burner kind of stuff. However, after a period of thinking it dead, it's fun to be t...

Sure Did highly structured routines just spring from his brain fully formed filled with associations and allusions and conclusions? Next in the Series: The Blog. Subscribe in a reader. Thursday, March 11, 2010. I've taken down the Next in the Series website and am packing in the whole notion of trying to pursue audio theater podcasting. Mix 16 hours of driving, sold out prints, an awesome artist alley and vendor’s room and you get my experience with Animazement 2015. 90% of my products are original. I was nervous about this because most conventions are 90% fan art.
