Reflections on the glory of God. A Morning Reflection – Three in One. God is so amazing! During our time together, the conversation turned to the Holy Trinity for a bit. Three persons in one God. We can have a relationship with each and yet, each is the One, All-powerful, All-knowing, Everlasting God! Each is not a part of God, but entirely God. We can never fully understand it. There is, however, inestimable value in beginning to try and understand it. We indeed are made in the image and likeness of God...

Reflections on the glory of God. A Morning Reflection – Christmas Stuff. As Christmas concludes in the Catholic liturgical calendar, I find it appropriate to reflect on my experience of Christmas this year. It has been different for me this year. I believe I see things through a different lens after my experiences of the last nine months of unemployment. Did you like your Christmas stuff this year? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Reflections on the glory of God. A Morning Reflection – Daddy Time. It is ironic to me, but lately I have been really struggling in my prayer life. I don’t know why, but I have just found it difficult to consistently spend good quality quiet time with the Lord, our Father. The Lord used these events in my life to gently remind me again in a new light what I already know. We all sometimes need some Daddy time. June 2, 2015. Posted by Jonathan Cyr. What forms our identity? Sunday, May 19, 2013. A few months ago I was invited to a young boys birthday party, he was going to turn 7 years old and instead of birthday gifts for himself he wanted to make sure everyone had a place to call home. No there is not a typo. I seven (7) year old boy expressed a very prophetic heart longing to house people in need, and it was not the first time! John Ross has been making this type of requests from his 4th birthday. As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.'...

A Regular Joe: “HURRICANE!!”
http://deaconjoeseabee.blogspot.com/2015/08/hurricane.html
What forms our identity? Saturday, August 8, 2015. 12th Sunday of Ordinary Time. Job 38:1, 8-11; 2 Corinthians 5:14-17; Mark 4:35-41. Well here we are again, hurricane season 2015. Remember the 2004 hurricanes? 8220;The Gospel today gives us a vivid image of the power of fear. The raging storm, the boat taking on water—there is real, tangible, physical danger! And Jesus is asleep.”. You would think after witnessing all of this the disciples would have a strong and unshakeable faith, yet they will ask the...

What forms our identity? Monday, March 24, 2014. NAMING and CONSIDERING THE MANY WELLS WE ARE DRINKING. It has been said that anytime someone significant in the Scriptures remains nameless, that person acts as the universal person—standing in for each one of us! So let’s pull up a rock and join Jesus at Jacob’s Well to experience the insights our Lord has in store for us to discover the wells we have been drinking. The Mass is one well! Do we not carry our water jar here, full of the burdens from the wee...
