For year's, Jay and I did nothing to celebrate Valentine's day, or at least nothing standard. When we first met, we had a few years of a contest for the cheesiest under $5 gift we could find. I am thinking of something to write about. Monday, August 1, 2011. Catching up-Blake Island Party. This party was a total blast! Steve, Jamie and Karl all came down from Alaska and we did a hike to Lake 22 before heading out to the island the next day. Heading out to the island! We spent Friday night out there with the Alaska crew. Everyone else showed up on Saturday.good times celebrating! Surprise sailors (Adrian and Matt) arrive by dinghy, assisted by human lighthouse (Peter). Dead Fish in a Box.

When we were there before last summer, we didn't know we'd be having the party there! We're there with the sailing club again in May, so I'll take some photos of the campground, picnic shelters/areas and other facilities and post them then! I am thinking of something to write about. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. What was so great about Hawaii? I am thinking of something to write about. Friday, March 7, 2014. I've never observed Lent. Often I want to, but I get overwhelmed thinking of what to do that would be meaningful. "Giving up" things for lent seems a little meh to me. This year I decided to observe and I will observe by adding. Here's what I plan to add:. 1 At least 30 minutes of exercise every day outside (with an exception for yoga, which is inside, but awesome, and very windy days). 2 Examen every night! 3 Pray-as-you go every day.

I am thinking of something to write about. Monday, June 20, 2011. Life is so exciting I can't stand it. Jay's birthday party was fun, now we have friends arriving from Alaska this week and then we're going to Blake Island for 4 days to celebrate our 10th anniversary along with friends and fam! And, work is winding down for the year and I'm going to the UK to visit dear friends for 10 days. When I come back, it will still be summer and lots of hiking and camping adventures to be had! Can hardly stand it.
