Sew Many Quilts So Little Time: Sunday Golf
http://kathy-quilts.blogspot.com/2014/03/sunday-golf.html
Sew Many Quilts So Little Time. Sunday, March 9, 2014. Sunday's have gotten into a routine, though not a bad one. Late afternoon about 5 or so, Les will head out to the Yarrawonga-Mulwala Golf Resort to play 9 holes. I go along and look for interesting things to photograph. This time of year the roos will gather on the course to eat the green grass so there will be big groups of them. This male is giving me the dare you look. If you have a look at his claws it is best to stay way back. One for the Money.

Sew Many Quilts So Little Time: Evening in the country
http://kathy-quilts.blogspot.com/2014/11/several-weekends-ago-we-went-to-friends.html
Sew Many Quilts So Little Time. Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Evening in the country. Several weekends ago we went to a friends birthday party at her parents property out in the country. It was a beautiful piece of land with lots of open spaces. They raise grain (wheat), sheep and cattle. The property has been in the family for several generations and the great grandfather had cleared the land of trees. I was fascinated by this dead tree in the paddock. Sew Many Quilts So Little Time: May 2014
http://kathy-quilts.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Sew Many Quilts So Little Time. Sunday, May 25, 2014. The wood is a project that Les has been working on for a while. It is a slab of Redgum Burl. It will be a tabletop and it has turned out beautiful. The pink flowers are on the eucalyptus tree. They will flower at random times of the year as far as I can tell. The bees love them. Last, is the kookaburra. This one was so intent on watching the ground for food he did not see me sneak up on it. They are beautiful birds with the wild laughing call.

Sew Many Quilts So Little Time: September 2013
http://kathy-quilts.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sew Many Quilts So Little Time. Sunday, September 15, 2013. The weather here has been trying to warm to spring but as always, a cold front sneaks in. In the northern hemisphere we would call this a Blue Northern, but here must be a Blue Southwesterly. I love the how the house across the catches the morning sun, so I took some pictures then the rainbow came out and the morning flight of the cockatoos. It doesn't show up totally on the picture but was a nice sight. The Cockatoos heading into the sunrise.
