Saturday, July 25, 2015. As of July 23rd, we have a ONE YEAR OLD boy! In regards to milestones, James is about 3 months behind, and it seems to be the trend in all areas. He still isn't crawling! Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Two Teeth in One Week! Miss Makenna lost her first tooth last week! She had two wiggly teeth- one more than the other. The first wriggly one has been super wriggly for a while but she wouldn't let Steve or I touch it. Sunday, May 25, 2014. Last week Lauren was with us for a bit and I requested that she bring her camera and take pictures of the kids, especially Caleb. These are some of my favorites. Thanks Lauren! Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Just some recent pictures from our corner of the world. Blurry because they would not stand still long enough for me to snap a photo. Saturday, June 20, 2015. We made it to all of the graves this year for Memorial Day this year, not all in one day though. The kids loved walking around and looking at the different graves. They would ask what the names were on the graves and how old they were when they died. I'm not sure if it was a little creepy with how entertained they were but it was nice to walk around. Monday, March 17, 2014. Holidays are so much more fun with kids! Last night the kids got the Leprachuan trap all set up with Steve. They made a rainbow out of the blocks and had 2 traps, since we're not sure if he is big or little. He was enticed by our gold coins and the kids thought for sure we would catch him this year! Tuesday, January 27, 2015. 9 Months and a haircut! Our little Caleb turned 9 months last week and to celebrate he got his first haircut! The front of his hair was all that really needed to be cut- I couldn't stand it in his eyes anymore. Ok, well Chase needed a haircut as well so here are my two hairy boys before Steph came. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Chase got moved to a toddler bed last week! It's funny how I was so excited with Makenna for each new stage- she was in her toddler bed just after she turned 2. But I have been in no hurry to put Chase in a bed. Caleb has been sleeping in the pac-n-play so Chase was fine in the crib. I just have not wanted to give up those bars that he can't get out of! Monday, July 13, 2015. Steve was on vacation last week and we had such a fun week. We decided to do a staycation this year so that Caleb could take his afternoon naps and it just would be more pleasant if we could all sleep in our own beds every night. Vacation started with the 4 of July and I love this holiday! I love what it stands for and am so grateful to live in this country! On Monday we went swimming and enjoyed playing in the water. Makenna still is my fish and could stay at the pool all day!
