Musings: May 2010
http://aglaril.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
A personal look at writing, publishing, technology, social media, and anything else that occurs to me. Monday, May 31, 2010. So what do I do? I don't know. Obviously, my novels are going nowhere until I can decide to go on or quit. Perhaps a few short stories as trial balloon are needed to verify I can write to the level required. Blogging and audience building also seem to be the order of the day. As a writer friend tells me, 'One step at a time.' I now understand why he says this. Links to this post.

Musings: June 2010

A personal look at writing, publishing, technology, social media, and anything else that occurs to me. Monday, June 28, 2010. Likewise, I mapped my entire fantasy world some years ago. If I were started from scratch I probably wouldn't do that. I'd use Fractal Terrains. The nice thing about that program is it integrates with Campaign Cartographer I believe, and will randomly generate the entire world in a snap. Posted by Rich Feitelberg. Links to this post. Musings: October 2010
http://aglaril.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A personal look at writing, publishing, technology, social media, and anything else that occurs to me. Friday, October 29, 2010. Here's a scene we've probably all experienced: you are in the market going down the aisle when someone comes along and cuts in front of you. She says, "I'm sorry" as she whizzes by, but doesn't really decelerate and is gone in two seconds. When this happens to me I think, "Where's the fire? Do they think their needs is more important than mine? Think about that the next time yo...

Musings: February 2011
http://aglaril.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
A personal look at writing, publishing, technology, social media, and anything else that occurs to me. Monday, February 28, 2011. Revision is a Harsh Mistress. I've been revising my novel. No news there. But I've been revising it for six weeks and what I've discovered is revision - really good revision - is really hard. I don't know why it took umpteen drafts to get to this point but I've hit bone I think. I've finally got the words where I want them. I'll be back, but not for some weeks yet. Still i...

Musings: December 2010
http://aglaril.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
A personal look at writing, publishing, technology, social media, and anything else that occurs to me. Friday, December 31, 2010. Be Careful What you Wish for. I could kick myself. Two years ago now, I accepted the help of an 'editor' on the suggestion of a writer friend of mine. This 'editor' runs a publishing shop in New Hampshire and was willing to help me clean up my first book, Aure, the Topaz. God knows what else he told me that is wrong. No wonder I've had such a hard time selling this novel.

Musings: I Just Don't Understand
http://aglaril.blogspot.com/2014/10/i-just-dont-understand.html
A personal look at writing, publishing, technology, social media, and anything else that occurs to me. Saturday, October 25, 2014. I Just Don't Understand. I've come back from the farmer's market; I sold. From that experience, and a little research, I see that a majority of people don't read. Books regularly. I just don't understand that. One person at the market admitted that to me and blamed his short attention span. What's up with that? I just don't understand that behavior either. Other Blogs to Check.
