ABOUT ME
http://www.michellehbarnes.com/ABOUT_ME.html
Michelle Heidenrich Barnes, writer. Growing up, I was obsessed with the performing arts - theater, dance, music - and how they. Ould be used to tell stories and communicate a shared human experience on many different levels. These days, I am an artist of the written word. My creative challenge is to bring out the natural musicality and rhythm of words and let them bounce around (and otherwise run amok) within the sphere of my imagination. And the Writer's Alliance of Gainesville.

Michelle Heidenrich Barnes, writer. I am here with the blog of the day—. Another keen writer with something to say. I’m not much for rants or lengthy tirades,. For tangents, or rambling, or silly charades. Got to say can be said in a ditty—. Brief and concise, though it may not be pretty. In fact, truth be known, it may not make much sense. 8220;I yam what I yam” is my only defense. So welcome aboard, glad to have you along. To this world I call life chiseled down to a song.

March Madness - Pseudonymous - Blue Window
http://bluewindow.weebly.com/home/march-madness-pseudonymous
March Madness - Pseudonymous. I was given the *delightful* word, "pseudonymous" in the 3rd Round of the March Madness poetry contest currently underway on Ed DeCaria's website, Think Kid Think. I almost cried. Then I got down to business. I stayed up till 6 am and wrote several poems, one of which I thought was quite good about Lemony Snicket (a double dactyl). My crit group, The Poet's Garage, pretty much panned it (although I later found out that Buffy liked it.) Back to square one. Thanks and your wel...

Poetry Friday - The Great Egret - Blue Window
http://bluewindow.weebly.com/home/poetry-friday-the-great-egret
Poetry Friday - The Great Egret. We've recently downsized from our home on the. To a more reasonable home about 15 minutes inland in a bayou region; we're one house away from conservation land surrounding the bayou system. We've traded one ecosystem for another. I feel truly blessed to have lived in such a setting for nine years, but look forward to adventures in our new bayou ecosystem as well. This poem is a sort of haiku without a strict syllable count. Great Egret tamest of the herons. I love to catc...
