http://englishbeyondclassroom.blogspot.com/2009/07/value-of-time.html
Burqa on the street. Make love, not war. So many people, so many people. Monday, July 27, 2009. Posted by M.P. Few days ago, I was relieving a class. As usual, students were estastic that their English teacher was absent. "Free periods! Seeing that they were so gleeful to be wasting away half hour of learning, I shared with them a poem:. To realise the value of One Year,. Ask a student who failed his or her AP exams. To realise the value of One Month,. As a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.

Science Beyond Classroom: Barcodes
http://sciencebeyondclassroom.blogspot.com/2009/07/barcodes.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. We see barcodes everyday and almost every where. Before the invention of barcodes, cashiers at stores have to run their deft little fingers across the cash machines to register payment. Now, they just have to beep all items under their scanners. What convenience that little piece of black and white stripes sticker provides! Recall what you've learnt under the topic Light - how does an object appear white / red / black? Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Puzzle: Mosquito Coil and Time. Few months ago, my brother came home with a puzzle from his NDU camp that made everyone in the family cracked our head. A) How to measure exactly 30 min using one coil? B) How to measure exactly 15 min using two coils? December 14, 2009 at 5:47 PM.

Science Beyond Classroom: The Misunderstood Rainbow
http://sciencebeyondclassroom.blogspot.com/2009/07/rainbows.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. A student questioned, "If light travels in a straight line, why is rainbow curved? This student believed that rainbow streams from the sun, like sun ray. Sunlight travels in a straight line, "bounced off" rain drops through total internal reflection and the dispersed light spectrum travels in straight line into our eyes. Till now, scientists have not fully understood all aspects of rainbow. Rainbow, by itself, is an interesting field of study. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
