Zooming in on some of my favorite current events: environmental issues and food mostly. Thursday, March 8, 2012. Globalization of U.S.' thrift clothing. When we donate our last-season or fairly tattered clothing to Goodwill or the Salvation Army, slow-sellers are shipped overseas for second-secondary sales- tertiary sales. I have an idea—how about cutting out the middle-man (Goodwill, etc.) and donating/selling our clothes directly to these second-hand clothing industries overseas? Posted by MICHELLE UDEM.

Max 50lbs per bag, so 100lbs total, but for hot-weather countries, Peace Corps recommends 80 lbs total. As my checked baggage I have one large rolling luggage (50lbs), and a backpacking backpack (40lbs). I’m still working on paring it down to 80 pounds! I always consult my.
