There Is Beauty All Around. July 3, 2011 5 Comments. It’s about time I create another post! I’m sorry…these are long past due. Most of these photos were taken in Oregon at Silver Falls. BEAUTIFUL! The trail actually cuts into the rock behind the waterfall so you can hike all the way around it. It was the most amazing thing ever. I was able to capture a few of the little driplets of water that were coming off the hillside. It was so incredibly green and the dripping water created the most amazing scene.

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Dan graduated with his Master's degree on May 4th! We are so happy for and proud of him! A few days before graduation he passed the licensing exam and is now officially a CSW and is looking for a job where he can be the biggest help he can be! Besides the pictures I have a video of his hooding and receiving the diploma but it isn't uploading right now. When all of the graduates and professors and everyone came walking in Olivia said "The Kings! The Kings are coming!

Sunday, October 21, 2012. I have had a life goal for many years to run a marathon. I've always said 'Someday I will run a marathon.' Well, that someday came and yesterday October 20th, 2012, I ran 26.2 miles in 4 hours! I felt good pretty much the whole race but the last 6 miles were hard and the last 2 miles were REALLY hard and seeing the finish line was such a relief that I almost started crying! I am happy with how I ran and the race in general. I am feeling it today though - wow! My after race kiss!

Sunday, October 21, 2012. I finally did it - I cut off Sadie's rat tail! Her hair curls a little more now at the back with that hair gone - I think it's cute! This is a sign for a restaurant that we pass often and the other day when we passed it taking Dan to work Olivia asked "What are those mechanics doing to Jesus? Where that girl comes up with the things she says is beyond me! She keeps us laughing though! I laugh every time I think of this. Hilarious! And yeah for no more rat tail. Lucky I'm in Love.

Sunday, December 9, 2012. I taught the lesson in Relief Society today from the George Albert Smith manual. The lesson was 'Bringing Up Children in Light and Truth' and I really enjoyed studying the teachings of the prophet. As the lesson went on I became increasingly more grateful for my wonderful, righteous parents and how they raised me! I am grateful that mom brought me back down to the gas station kicking and screaming to pay the cashier 5 cents after I stole a 5 cent candy and ate it. I could go on ...
