El teclado matricial 4X4 fue programado en lenguaje ensamblador, usando el pic 16f877a, para el teclado se uso uno prefabricado, un display 7-segmentos, y para la alimentacion una bateria de 9v con un adaptador que reduce el voltaje a 5v para poder energizar el pic y el resto del sistema.
