Thursday, May 28, 2015. The women had a special meeting while the men were having leadership training. The babies were good, but tired by the end of the meeting. Many of the people arrived by boat from other islands. Some came by "taxi" (flat bed truck). Here are some of our branch members loading up to go home. Saturday, February 7, 2015. We are excited to have been called on another mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! This time we are going to the Micronesia/Guam Mission. We will be volunteering at the community hospital on the Island of Chuuk. Chuuk is one of the four states of the Federated States of Micronesia. We will also be sharing the message of the Church with those who want to know more. ( For more information click here. Here are some of the people in our training group.

Monday, April 6, 2015. March - "In like a lamb and out like a lion". One of these Elders finished his mission and went home this month. Since there are only about 26 Elders in Chuuk, they become very close friends to each other. This month we visited home-bound people on Weno, Romanum, and also on the Island of Tonoas. This woman has a large family group who live on top of a mountain. When we first visited she could not walk. Here she is walking a few weeks later! Boys playing at the church in Tonoas.
