An observation I've had since being here is regularly seeing locals riding one bike and then extending one arm out to the side and hang onto another bicycle which doesn't have anyone on it. Home on the Hannahse Bos. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Over the weekend, we had a beautiful, sunny, warmer day ( unusual for this May) so we took Hannah to the beach for one last time. Here she is after chasing the ball and lots of running and playing with other dogs. And Monday we walked one last time in the Hannahse Bos so she could say goodbye. For Easter,we drove down to Normandy. On the way down, we stopped in Ypres, Belgium at a WW1 museum that included these trenches from the war. Home on the Hannahse Bos. Wednesday, June 27, 2012. The assault of Mont Ventoux. What can I say about this mountain? It will break you if you show any weakness or lack of planning. Penny dropped me off in the village of Sault, France which was about 15 miles to the top of the mountain on the south side. It was very warm but not that bad for this Houston boy or is it? Mont Ventoux is a serious climb for the Tour de France and I was going to tame it today! Legs are turning over slowing but keep going.
