We were discussing the various unique aspects of the holiday season. Shopping, decorations, parties, and the general insanity that comes with this time of year were all on the table. Then he said something that made me ponder. He has seven children and three grandchildren. Ages two to twenty-four. Yikes. There, my friends, is wh...

Trying to find balance in a world without any. What we are →. May 7, 2015. The king has no freedom. If he is a good king he must look after his people. The servant has no freedom. His employer, no matter how kind or benevolent, determines his course. I am the late, great middle class working stiff that is the framework of society....

Trying to find balance in a world without any. They don’t wear condoms in porn. February 22, 2015. Alright, so I apologize for the title, but it all relates to another interesting conversation that took place recently. Danger. Adventure. Risk. It’s part of what makes us what we are. Unfortunately, so is fear. It simply wasn’t as bad as you thought it was going to be. What we need to do is take that risk. Get on the motorcycle and chase the villain because he didn’t have a helmet and leather jacket? How a...

Middle-Aged Martial Arts Mom. Loving a crippling compulsion…. August 14, 2015. By T D. Davis.
