I am still alive and still worrying about my weight - although, that said, I have not been weighing myself recently. I am somewhat nervous about what Mr Scales will say to me after the festive season. I hope he will be my friend. Life is till manic, although not as manic as it was before Christmas. Hopefully in a week or so, I will be able to get back into a much more managed and sensible routine.

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. It is 12 hours before countdown begins in NYC, and I finally have a chance to sit down and think about what really went on in my life this past year. School-wise, this was the worse year I have ever had. Too much procrastinating leads to too many failed classes. We have eaten in the same Turkish Restaurant for years and years but last week when we were celebrating Rob's new job (Yeah! And on arrival discovered that the owners had sold up and moved to Turkey for an extended holiday. The staff were new (though very nice) but there were changes and for the boys, the magic was gone.
