The search function on here is not brilliant so at the suggestion of my beloved I have decided to make an index page and will add all the recipes into some logical order. Be warned this is my logic and not yours… it’s alphabetical and you should be able to find it by it’s main ingredient (e.g chicken) or recipe type (e.g. soup). Hopefully this will make recipes easier to find🙂. Beef – Belgian beef stew. Beef – burgers. Beef – cottage pie. Beef – chilli con carne. Beef – chimichanga. Lentil and bacon soup.

Recipe – Crab Cakes. May 9, 2013. These were inspired by a Delia Smith recipe but hers are friend and mine are not. They would be wonderful fried but not suitable for a fasting day and that’s when we had them. Ingredients and Approximate Cost. 250g potatoes- waxy ones ( 50p). 1 can of crab meat in brine ( 2). 2 spring onions/scallions (10p). Chilli flakes or seasoning you prefer. Fresh herbs of choice. Total cost 2.60. Calories per portion 159. Bake for 30 minutes until crisp and golden. Posted by Me :).

On one hand I’m happier than I have been in a long time. Then on the other hand I’m feeling really down and frumpy. I try to not be the average fat person.
