http://jamiekrakover.blogspot.com/2015/03/mystery-twitter-theater.html
This isn't rocket science! Musings about reading, writing, engineering, tv, movies and life. Friday, March 20, 2015. You're not going to believe this. I just found out I'm a suspect in a crime. Noted YA blogger Ensconced in Lit. But on that night I wasn't with her. I headed home from work to grab my laptop so I could meet some local writers at the coffee shop. I was there writing until about 9pm when I headed home and snuggled up with my dog. Will you help prove my innocence? Or should I say to kill for.

On the reading and writing of books. Monday, August 31, 2015. MMGM: Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms. I picked up this book, because I so enjoyed Rooftoppers. By Katherine Rundell. However, if you’re looking for a book like Rooftoppers. You might be disappointed. This book is utterly unique. Yes, there’s still an orphan, but this is an orphan who grew up in Zimbabwe. And just wait till she arrives in England! Here’s the synopsis (from Amazon):. And will she have the courage to survive? I noticed this, becau...

http://jennienzor.blogspot.com/2015/08/iswg-get-out-and-do.html
On the reading and writing of books. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. ISWG: Get Out and Do. This post is going to be relatively short, because I just got back from a trip and my brain is still on vacation. But I thought I'd share some pictures of what I did on Monday:. Lava River Caves, Bend, Oregon. Photo Credit (both pictures): W. Enzor. But one of the side effects of my lack of adventure is that I tend to draw on my distant past for story ideas, rather than be inspired by the present. Alex J. Cavanaugh.

http://www.kidliterati.com/2015/07/reaching-readers-through-summer-camp.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Reaching Readers: Through Summer Camp Chess Camp. I write by day in my family owned Jazz club in NYC. For the last couple years, we’ve housed the NYC Chess program and during the summer months we have kids swarming the place. They are awesome. Super intelligent, precocious, and their extra special talents tend to peek through. How? When I get the opportunity to chat with any one of them. They become extremely interested in the process of writing. How is she doing it? I love that...

This isn't rocket science! Musings about reading, writing, engineering, tv, movies and life. Monday, July 14, 2014. ST LOUIS IN THE ART OF LAINEY—GUEST POST AND GIVEAWAY! My friend Jamie has invited me onto her blog to talk about how the city of St. Louis influenced my first YA contemporary novel, THE ART OF LAINEY. But other than the restaurant, I tried to keep it real when Micah and Lainey actually go to St. Louis. For example:. They see the Arch while they’re driving on Market Street, passing Un...

This isn't rocket science! Musings about reading, writing, engineering, tv, movies and life. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. The Only Girl in the Room. Now I have to say in general the divide in engineering is getting much better. In the last couple years my group alone has more than doubled its number of female engineers from two to five. And this past summer we had two female interns. Sounds awesome right? And what message does this send to up and coming females seeking out technical fields? Women are s...
