Through the screams, the tears, the frosting faces and the mess Eleanor and company had a grand time at this year's event. Friday, February 12, 2010. Two weeks ago the family, the Netburns and the Brandons headed up to the Forest Service Cabin. And the cabin is literally 300 yards from the parking lot. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. I do not have any photos to go along with this post. Just wishing we lived closer to family. Eleanor got her first haircut on friday. It is amazing to see the toddler mullet transformed into little girl's bob. Halloween is fast approaching, we are carving pumpkins tomorrow. So I will have photos to share soon.

Tuesday, March 17, 2015. I wanted to share an event that was a success in my ELA classroom - Poetry Coffeehouse! We just finished up a poetry unit, so this was a fun way to celebrate poetry and practice speaking skills. And drink hot chocolate, of course :).
