Tuesday, August 30, 2005. I'm watching The Today Show. As I do, every morning. The devastation is staggering. My thoughts and prayers are with. Those that lost everything. Please, for those who live in areas. That have mandatory evacuations. Head for the hills, ALWAYS. Don't trust that you can ride out the storm. An update on Lightfeather. I spoke to her yesterday. She is holding her own. Worrying about her mom. Who is struggling, not eating or drinking. She will post when things quiet down. In tears she...

Thursday, June 30, 2005. Product of the 70's. Ah, take nothing for granted hold everything dear. But some things are certain and perfectly clear. (MS). Ok stranger friends, here's a story. I don't know how it's going to come out, but it's all true. One thing is for certain, I couldn't make this stuff up. I was born in 57 not significant, but it means that I am a product of the 70's. That 70's show, is a good indicator of my youth. I don't watch that show, but I've seen clips and previews. MAD along with ...

Life Goes On: July 2005

Sunday, July 31, 2005. Hi Ho, Off to work I go. Maintenance assured us that this new kitchen was state of the art. We wouldn't need any maintenance for at least five years. We moved in and that's when the fun started! Shortly after that we started planning Anthony's first birthday party. This was bound to be a huge event so I started deciding what I wanted to do about two months before it was going to be. We decided that it would be at our house, in the back yard. Everyone was invited. The next day, Mond...

Friday, September 30, 2005. And So It Goes. This time of year is always hard for me. I go into this funk that seems to linger. No desire to do anything. Nothing in particular wrong. Just nothing right either. MAD showed up a week late. With a 13" tv for Ant. I already bought a 20". Susan showed up the same day. With a computer for Ant. We lied to MAD and said we were renting the tv. Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Yesterday, Vanessa and Ant. Traded up MAD's tv for a computer desk. I yelled at her.

Sunday, October 30, 2005. Did you remember to change your clocks? Change the batteries in your detectors? I still have one more clock to change. I didn't do it last night. I've been awake since 3:30am. Or was it 4:30? Either way, there will be a nap today. Anthony has an over-night guest. I told him he had to stay home. So he invites someone over. To spend the night. Five minutes after his return. From the Debate thing. He went to the football game Friday night. Met up with Marisa. Had to leave the house.

Thursday, December 29, 2005. I drove about 40 miles to Aurora. To Kelly's house who so graciously. Brenda was already there. They were listening to Michael Stanley. This was the first time I've met these women. We chatted for a while. Then piled into Kelly's bedroom. To watch a slide show. Set to his music. We watched it three times. I need to have me one of these. Her parents decided not to go. We offered to take the teenager with us. The pizza arrives, we eat and talk. Then, we pile into my car. The on...
