The Kangaroo Mob Recovers. I have written a number of times about the ANZACS, both on this blog and in my book. You can do a search if you want more details. I came across this post and was reminded that it is, indeed, 100 years since the ANZACS landed at Gallipoli and became legends. James Charles Martin (1901-1915), youngest Australian KIA at Gallipoli. Between 2014 and 2018 Australia and New Zealand will commemorate the Anzac Centenary, marking 100 years since their involvement in the First World War.

The World's Fare. All the terms and measures employed in the recipes on this blog are standard American. For those of you who might be accessing. From places where these terms and measures are not used, here are some explanations and conversions. Oz = ounce (weight). Fl oz = fluid ounce (volume). C = centigrade (Celsius). 1 tsp = 5 ml. 3 tsp = 1 Tbs. 1 Tbs = 15 ml. 2 Tbs = 30 ml or 1 fl. oz. 4 Tbs = 1/4 cup. 1 cup = 240 ml or 8 fl. oz. (vs. 10 oz. per cup in Imperial measure). 1 oz = 28 gm. 16 oz = 1 lb.
