Thursday, October 16, 2008. Midwifery Funded in Alberta. The rumors are true. I've gotten phone calls. I've heard the news. I've read online reports but I didn't believe it until I called the Director of the Albertan Midwives. She confirmed it! As of April 2009 all women who choose to have a midwife can do so without the worry of financial strain. I'm so happy!
