MightyCrafty: Stitch Fix Love: January 2014
http://mightycrafty.blogspot.com/2014/01/stitch-fix-love-january-2014.html
Monday, January 06, 2014. Stitch Fix Love: January 2014. I'm so loving my monthly Stitch Fix boxes. This month's Stitch Fix box arrived right on schedule, on Jan. 2. I immediately dove in. Alexandra was my stylist this month and she did an awesome job. I love that she included a personal note and said she actually read my blog reviews on my previous Stitch Fixes. How awesome is that? Thank you so much, Alexandra and Stitch Fix! I mentioned earlier and a new necklace. Carolin' Cardi from Kiki La' Rue, Dow...
MightyCrafty: Ugly Couch Transformation
http://mightycrafty.blogspot.com/2011/09/ugly-couch-transformation.html
Saturday, September 10, 2011. My first-ever furniture transformation project! Yes, I'm kind of nuts starting out with something this big. I'm not sure what possessed me, except that it started out like most of my craft projects do - with an overwhelming urge to just jump in and do it. I went back to Home Fabrics and Rugs. I ended up paying about $8/yard for this fabric. I love, love, love it so much. Use the big guns. Do some initial prep. Just start putting your fabric on and stapling! Initially, I worr...
MightyCrafty: Tutorial: Welded Titles with the Silhouette Machine
http://mightycrafty.blogspot.com/2011/10/tutorial-welded-titles-with-silhouette.html
Saturday, October 01, 2011. Tutorial: Welded Titles with the Silhouette Machine. I just love creating welded titles with my Silhouette. It gives everything such a custom look. What is a welded title? It's where all the letters/numbers in a font/image are touching - so that when the Silhouette cuts it out, the letters are all attached as a single item. Vacation Album Memorabilia Pocket. I welded the letters together so that each word was a giant sticker. Fonts: Mr. and Mrs. Popsicle. And Wish I Were Taller.
MightyCrafty: DIY Cleaning Wipes
http://mightycrafty.blogspot.com/2012/08/diy-cleaning-wipes.html
Tuesday, August 07, 2012. I'm the first to admit I'm not the world's best housekeeper. My cleaning strategy is more along the lines of - I'll clean it when it's dirty enough to notice - or we have guests coming over. But one of my favorite cleaning tools are cleaning wipes. I love the convenience of using a wipe to clean off counter tops, toilets, and sinks. Just swipe it off, then throw it away. Granted, not the greenest of solutions, but at least our surfaces are cleaned. Here's what you need:. 3 Most ...
