Update, June 2016. Following on from regional boundary changes it now seems likely that our new region name will be Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes.

Some time ago, a friend who was visiting spent his first day here just relaxing in the garden sat in a chair in the sun. He said he was counting the leaves on the trees on the opposite side of the valley. That gave the initial idea of taking one photo from roughly the same location each day to record the passing of the seasons. Read more about this page.
